Use these guidelines to understand the recipes and plan your cooking. They describe how to use this collection; they do not replace ingredient labels or official food-safety guidance.

Read the recipe status

New editorial recipes are labelled when they have not been kitchen-tested or nutritionally analysed. Treat time estimates as approximate. A recipe title or category is not a personalised recommendation.

Check ingredients and portions

Read the whole ingredient list before shopping. Check packaged ingredients for allergens and suitability for anyone eating the dish. Servings describe the intended yield; individual needs differ.

Follow preparation details

Use cooked or ready-to-eat ingredients when specified. Canned cooked beans cannot be exchanged directly for dried beans. Changes in grain type, vegetable size or equipment can change cooking time and liquid requirements.

Use both time and texture

Check the texture cues stated in the method. If the ingredients are not ready at the estimated time, continue with appropriate monitoring. Follow manufacturer instructions for equipment and ingredients.

Understand the pictures and videos

AI-generated images are editorial illustrations and are not evidence that a recipe has been tested. Text-based video lessons summarise practical steps; they are labelled separately from filmed cooking demonstrations.

Report a problem

If an ingredient amount or instruction seems inconsistent, stop and check before proceeding. Send the recipe title and the unclear step through the site contact page so the content can be reviewed. Do not send private medical information.
